Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi had a final telephone conversation with US General Mark Milley.

Valerii Zaluzhnyi wrote about this on his page on the social network.

"During the talks, the partners were present by General Charles Brown, who will soon head the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States. We agreed to continue working to strengthen the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression," Valerii Zaluzhnyi stressed.

According to him, during the conversation, the situation at the front and the needs of the Ukrainian army in air defense, artillery and ammunition were discussed.

"I informed about the course of defensive and offensive operations. The situation is under control. Our soldiers did not allow the loss of a single position. In some directions, despite the fierce resistance of the enemy, we continue to move forward. At the end of the conversation, I once again personally and on behalf of Ukrainian soldiers and officers thanked General Milley for his service to our country. Together - to Victory," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stressed.
