The Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reacted to the "appearance" of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, Admiral Viktor Sokolov, who was presumed dead, at a meeting in Shoigu.
This was reported by the press service of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
They recalled that as a result of a missile strike on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, 34 officers were killed. Many have not yet been identified due to the fragmentation of body fragments.
"Available sources claim that the commander of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation is among the dead.
Since the Russians were urgently forced to publish a response with Sokolov, who seemed to be alive, our units are clarifying the information. This is happening as part of the procedure for collecting data on the results of the operation," the statement said.
