Seventeen cars have been taken from drunk or drugged drivers since the start of August, when the law was passed. The total sentences are 17, and in the other 49 cases people paid the value of the cars because they were not owners. A total of 32 cars were seized, Minister Stoyanov commented.
Stoyanov reminded that for the first time in 2 years there will be an anti-vote unit between the Ministry of Interior, the Prosecutor's Office and the State Agency for National Security. A hotline has already been launched to send alerts.
