First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska said that she does not know whether President Volodymyr Zelensky will run for a second term in the upcoming elections.

This was reported by The Hill.

"Well, you know, it was a very difficult question for me. You know, even when he ran for the first time, I didn't fully support it... But if he runs again, if he runs for a second time, if he decides it's necessary, well, we have some experience, we've been there. It's not as scary as it was the first time," Olena Zelenska said.

According to Olena Zelenska, the decision on a second term will be made solely on the needs of Ukrainian society.

"It will also depend on whether our society needs him as president, if he feels that Ukrainian society no longer wants him in office, he will probably not run. But I will support him, no matter what decision he makes," the First Lady added.

It will be recalled that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy summed up the results of his visit to the United States and Canada and told what kind of assistance Ukraine will receive.
