Russia is actively attacking Odesa Oblast with Onyx anti-ship missiles due to its limited radius.

This was announced by the spokesman of the Air Force Command, Yuriy Ignat.

He recalled that the last time the occupiers used such missiles was quite recently, on the night of September 22.

Ihnat explained that the lower the launch point of anti-ship weapons, the less they will fly. Its radius can be halved from its maximum distance.

"Where Onyxes can reach, that's where they hit. Let me remind you that this is an anti-ship missile that can also hit the coastline," said the representative of the Air Force.

According to him, the occupiers choose the type of missile that, in their opinion, is most suitable for a particular direction.

Recall that on the evening of September 22, the invaders attacked the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of the Odesa region with missiles. Unfortunately, recreational infrastructure was hit.
