When the Armed Forces of Ukraine reach the administrative borders with the annexed Crimea, the number of strikes on military facilities of the Russian Federation on the peninsula will increase significantly.
This was stated on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel by military-political observer Oleksandr Kovalenko.
According to him, Ukrainian defenders are currently carrying out highly effective pinpoint strikes. Each such attack has results, Kovalenko says: it is either the destruction of S-400 systems, or the destruction of enemy surface assets, or the destruction of the headquarters of the Black Sea Flotilla.
The military expert is convinced that attacks on Russian military facilities in Crimea are currently insignificant. Instead, the situation will change in the future.
"For example, the access of the Defense Forces of Ukraine to the administrative border with Crimea significantly expands the possibilities of influencing the objects of the Russian occupiers, regardless of where they are located. Being near the administrative border, we can more effectively use barrel artillery, by the way, also high-precision: PzH 2000, CAESAR, M777 and others," he explained.
The Ukrainian army will continue to use HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, namely M142 and M270.
"Crimea will be divided like a layer cake into zones of influence of weapons, there will be an unimaginable number of strikes every day, since there are a huge number of objects of the Russian occupiers on the territory of the Crimean peninsula," Oleksandr Kovalenko said.
As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine say that the "cotton" in Crimea will continue. Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat emphasises that Ukraine needs to destroy the enemy and its logistics, the country cannot simply defend itself "unilaterally".
In addition, the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence emphasizes that they have a list of strategic objects of Russia that are subject to destruction. We are talking about military facilities, objects of the defense and military complex.
