On September 22 (Friday) the National Guard Service (NSP) takes security measures in Veliko Tarnovo on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of the proclamation of the Independence of Bulgaria. The culmination of the celebrations in the Old Capital City is the solemn inspection starting at 19.30 on Tsar Asen I Square.
Citizens who wish to attend the event will be provided access to the security zone after 18.00 hours through three checkpoints: "Nicola Piccolo", ul. "Ivan Vazov" and ul. "St. Kliment Ohridski".

The employees of the National Security Service will carry out checks for objects, generally dangerous means and substances on the grounds of art. 30, para. 1 of the law on the national guard.
Citizens will be checked with metal detectors for the presence of firearms and bladed weapons, sharp objects, explosives and flammable substances, sources of ionizing radiation, fireworks and other pyrotechnic articles. Citizens carrying bulky luggage will not be allowed to attend the event. The access of persons in a visibly inadequate condition will also be restricted.
For the period from 17.00 to 22.00 a ban on the use of unmanned aerial systems (drones) in the area of the event with a radius of 4 km with a center is introduced. "King Asen I".
