In the Kremenchuk district, a man was detained for repeatedly raping his wife's underage sister. The girl is only 13 years old.

The incident was reported in the press service of the Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office.

"According to the investigation, in the spring of this year, the accused repeatedly committed acts of a sexual nature against his wife's 13-year-old sister. The Hlobyno District Prosecutor's Office sent to court an indictment against a 31-year-old resident of the Kremenchuk district for raping a person under the age of fourteen, regardless of her voluntary consent (Part 4 of Article 152 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the statement reads.

The man is currently in custody.

Recall that in the Poltava region, a 28-year-old man raped the 13-year-old daughter of his acquaintances when he was visiting them.

And in the Lviv region, the police found and detained a 34-year-old man who raped a minor girl. He committed the crime while intoxicated.
