Customs officers at the Kapitan Andreevo Border Checkpoint seized undeclared fake goods, sexual stimulants and sachets of slimming tea during an inspection of a truck entering the country from Turkey, the Regional Press Center of the Customs in Svilengrad announced.
This happened in a tractor unit with a semi-trailer with a foreign registration, carrying groupage goods from Turkey to Bosnia and Herzegovina. The vehicle was selected for a thorough customs inspection, including X-ray equipment. During the subsequent physical control, 42 boxes of goods were found in the cargo hold, which is not described in the customs documents submitted.
A total of 1109,531 counterfeit goods were found - 141 blouses, shirts, sports tops, jackets, 137 perfumes, 300 bags and 1581 metal belt buckles, all with the designations of world brands. In the course of the inspection, another 6600,<> packs of sexual stimulants and <>,<> sachets of tea for weight loss were found.
The goods were detained and the driver, a Bosnian national, was issued an act, the customs added.
Since the beginning of the year, customs officers "Kapitan Andreevo" have detained about 800 thousand. the item with signs of registered trademarks.
According to customs statistics, more than 700,<> people were confiscated at the checkpoint last year. Items branded with signs of global trademarks. Most often, the goods subject to illicit trafficking are textiles, shoes and perfumes.
