Kota:
In view of the assembly elections in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is taking out both these Parivartan Sankalp Yatras. During the yatra, the BJP has to meet its own party workers at some places. One such case came to light during Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's Parivartan Sankalp Yatra where BJP workers started raising slogans against the local MLA.
Dhami did not get down from the chariot
Bhavani Singh Rajawat, a three-time BJP MLA from Ladpura assembly seat in Kota and a former parliamentary secretary in the BJP government, stood at the Galna square to welcome him along with BJP workers. But Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami, who was in the chariot, did not get down from the chariot to accept the greetings of the workers. In such a situation, the activists shouted slogans against local MLA Kalpana Devi (who was riding in the chariot), and expressed anger.
BJP leaders addressing party workers during yatra
Former MLA Bhawani Singh Rajawat and activists alleged that MLA Kalpana Devi forbade CM Dhami to get down from the chariot. Angered by the fact that he did not get down from the chariot to welcome him, the workers expressed their displeasure by shouting slogans against the local MLA.
Rajawat will complain to the state president
Senior BJP leader Bhawani Singh Rajawat has accused MLA Kalpana Devi of not allowing the CM to get off the chariot and said that he will inform the state president about it. Rajawat said the workers were expressing displeasure. Rajawat said that the Parivartan Yatra was going out to overthrow the Congress, but the attitude of the people's representatives of his own party was uprooting the workers, so questions were being raised about the meaning of the Parivartan Yatra.
