During the investigation of electoral trade, amounts of over EUR 180,000 and BGN 20,000 were identified. Pre-trial proceedings are under Article 167 of the Penal Code.
Later in the day, prosecutor Maria Markova and Senior Commissioner Emil Pavlov are expected to give more details on the case, BNR reported.
