Al-Ghabri added in a post on his Facebook account that the reasons are still unknown.

He pointed out that there is no truth to what is being reported about an explosion at the Rades station, stressing that the technical teams are working to restore electricity.

The security situation is stable

The Tunisian Interior Ministry statement stressed that the security situation is stable and the security services continue to maintain public security.

According to local media, a fire broke out at the station of the Tunisian Company for Electricity and Gas in Berdas. Civil protection rushed to put out the blaze, which caused power outages in most of the country's states.
