Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, called the illegal detention and abuse of two men in one of the departments of the Sambir District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support (TCC and SP) in the Lviv region a manifestation of arbitrariness, to which law enforcement agencies must show their intolerance.

This is how he commented on this scandalous incident on the air of the national telethon.

"Of course, professional comments should be provided by law enforcement agencies, because they are much deeper in the situation, they understand the motivations of the parties... We understand that this should be treated negatively, there are no other options and models of behavior... Law enforcement agencies must really clearly show that they will be intolerant of such manifestations of arbitrariness," Podolyak said.

The adviser to the head of the President's Office stressed that it is important in this situation to maintain the respect of state institutions from society and noted the shortcomings of the education of individual representatives of state power.

"I understand that not everyone was raised correctly by their parents," he said.

As reported, on September 20, the SBI employees served notices of suspicion to servicemen of illegal deprivation of liberty and torture committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 146, Part 2 of Article 127 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years.
