As part of the celebrations for the 75th anniversary of the National Ballet of Cuba, under the direction of Viengsay Valdés, the cycle of conferences entitled "An encounter with dance, technique, expression and styles" continues, by Dr. Miguel Cabrera, historian of the company.

This Friday,September 22, at 2:00 pm, the conference will take place at the Theater of the Ministry of Communications, with the performance of dancers Nadila Estrada and Alejandro Alderete. The Spanish Dance of the third act of the ballet "El lago de los cisnes" will also be represented, by Chavela Riera and Yankiel Vázquez; and, from the same work, the Dance of the Four Swans of the second act, by Alianed Moreno, Melaine Leyva, Paloma Blanco and Camila Alfonso.

This type of didactic activity has been a constant work of the National Ballet of Cuba for decades, and was an idea promoted by the prima ballerina assoluta Alicia Alonso in order to offer the art of ballet to all the people of Cuba, as well as the knowledge to appreciate it better.
