Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that as a result of the successful operation in Karabakh, his country restored its territorial integrity. Now it is obvious that the unrecognized "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" will cease to exist.

In an interview with TSN.ua, Georgian political analyst and author of the YouTube channel "News from the Caucasus" Gela Vasadze told whether the Russian Federation won or lost from the situation in Karabakh.

"What has Russia won in? In fact, its military is deprived of any subjectivity today... Now, at this moment, Armenia has every chance to leave Russia," the expert says.

Vaje stressed that the Russian Federation had a huge influence on Armenia – "economic, political, any." And the main hook on which Armenia was kept was Karabakh.

"And now Armenia has every chance to build its own security system. The best, of course, is in the interaction of the three countries of the South Caucasus. The Armed Forces of Ukraine have shown that it is no longer possible to live beyond "friendly" bayonets, it is harmful. Azerbaijan won the war and it could have won it a long time ago. It is important to win peace," the analyst says.

The End of Russian Diktat in the South Caucasus

He believes that Russian influence will remain in the South Caucasus for a long time and will have to be squeezed out for a long time.

"But the Russian diktat in the South Caucasus is over and is over forever," Gela Vasadze concluded.

Recall that on September 20, the "authorities" of the unrecognized "Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" announced that they were ceaseing fire and laying down their arms.

In turn, Azerbaijan announced that it was completing "anti-terrorist measures" — this was confirmed by the country's Defense Ministry.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan did not participate in the preparation of agreements between Baku and the "authorities" of the unrecognized republic.
