The policeman who shot and killed an 18-year-old boy was using a personal weapon. This was learned by bTV from two independent sources.

The 33-year-old officer had both a personal and a service weapon. As he told investigators that during the persecution the official fell out, so he used his personal one.

The police said the shooting came after the 18-year-old reached for his bag and the uniformed man decided he would pull out a gun.
