The 78th UN General Assembly kicked off on Tuesday, with 145 leaders scheduled to speak at the Assembly.
For the first time in years, US President Joe Biden will be the only leader of the five veto-wielding countries in the Security Council to address the 193-member General Assembly, with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian Vladimir Putin, France's Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak absent from this year's General Assembly.
