Swarms of marches were heard overhead, while the Ukrainian military said they were Iranian-made.
Lviv Mayor Andrei Sadovy wrote in a Telegram post that "air defenses are operating in our area, and there are additional drones flying in our direction," calling on residents to take shelter from "the risk of a second attack."
The mayor later added in a second post: "Explosions are heard. As a result of shelling on Lviv, a fire broke out in an industrial warehouse."
The Ukrainian Air Force said in a Telegram post that the raiding drones were Iranian-made "Shahid" and that its defenses were countering them.
The Air Force wrote in its publication that "the danger of a witness remains in the Lviv area. Air defenses are working."
Russia often uses Iranian-made Shahid drones to attack cities in Ukraine.
