Denmark plans to transfer 45 tanks to the Ukrainian military. We are talking about 30 Leopard-1 and 15 T-72.
This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Denmark, Troels Lund Poulsen, writes Berlingske Media.
On Tuesday, September 19, the Minister of Defense is at a meeting at the Ramstein base in Germany, where a large number of countries are coordinating military support for Ukraine.
The new aid package includes 30 Leopard-1 tanks, as well as 15 T-72 tanks. They are purchased in cooperation with other partner countries.
"This is happening in cooperation with other countries that have access to the tanks they have. If I don't put it into words, it's because we still need to establish formal things," said the head of the Danish Ministry of Defense.
It will be recalled that Ukraine attacked the Russian ship "Sergey Kotov" - the Main Directorate of Intelligence announced serious damage.
