On September 19, the Azerbaijani Army's Education and Training Center began a conference on "Improving the moral and psychological preparation of private personnel in military units and strengthening military discipline."

According to the Ministry of Defence, the conference will discuss the work done during the current year, the role of military commanders in promoting and conducting measures for the moral and psychological preparation of private personnel, the knowledge of military law enforcement by officers, and the strengthening of military discipline, winter preparations and a number of other relevant issues.
The conference will run into September 21.
