It's time for Georgia to implement specifically the priorities necessary for it to obtain candidate status from the EU.
The EPA's Tbilisi correspondent reports that European Union Council President Charles Michel noted this on a Twitter share after a meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Iraqi Karibashvili in New York.
"Now is the time for specific implementation of the priorities needed to unlock candidate status," Michelle said.
During the meeting, he noted that the ECB emphasized its commitment to Georgia's membership prospects.
