Today the world of comics, journalism, design and cartooning is in mourning.

Jorge Oliver Medina, "el Viejo", as he liked to call himself, has died.

The Father of Captain Plin and Rui the Pestex will no longer be among us... We will no longer hear his laughter, his stories and his bad words, we will no longer enjoy his drawings on any piece of paper. Meetings will become more tedious...

Gone are the man, the brother, the friend, the tireless worker, undoubtedly his most accurate definition. However, his work remains and that counts.

Don't rest Old man, wherever you go, keep dreaming and creating! From here we will always thank you for your stories, your dedication and commitment.

Extend our condolences to all your family and friends.
