Heavy rains in Banswara district of Rajasthan.

Jaipur:

Rain continues in Rajasthan. Several districts, including Sikar, Sirohi, Bhadwa, have been receiving rains since Monday morning. Jaipur also received rain on Monday morning. A flood-like situation has been created in Banswara district. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of heavy rains in 7 districts of Rajasthan today. According to information received from the Meteorological Center Jaipur, heavy rains may occur at some places in Dungarpur, Udaipur, Sirohi, Jalore, Rajsamand, Pali and Barmer districts today.
Meteorologist Radheshyam Sharma said that the Well Mark low-pressure system is currently active over south Rajasthan and Gujarat. The monsoon trough is currently passing through Jaisalmer, Sagar, Jamshedpur to the Bay of Bengal. Due to this system, it is raining in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Barmer, Jalore and Sirohi on September 19.


Red alert issued in these districts, holidays declared in schools

There is a pressure over southeast Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh, which is causing rains. A red alert has been issued in Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh districts. Holidays have been declared in schools in Jalore, Sanchore.

Good rain signs in south Rajasthan

South Rajasthan is likely to receive good rainfall. Good rains are expected in Pali, Dungarpur, Banswara, Udaipur, Sirohi, Jalore and Jhalawar districts.

Overflowing dam in Sirohi

In Sirohi, the entire district, including Mount Abu, received weak rainfall, drizzle and light rain continued throughout the night. All the dams in the district are overflowing, water in the rivers, clouds in the sky, rain continues in Mount Abu.

Rain continues in Sikar

There was a change in weather in Sikar district late at night, due to which there was a period of light drizzle for some time this morning. At present, the movement of clouds in the region has been continuous since morning.

Meteorological Department warns of south Rajasthan

The Meteorological Department has warned that rains may continue in south Rajasthan for the next few days. People have been appealed to remain alert and stay in safe places. In Banswara, the rescue of people trapped in water has been started.
