The dilapidated roads of the capital Jaipur are going to be released soon. The government has sanctioned Rs 156 crore for various road development works in the capital Jaipur and its surrounding areas. This amount will be used to repair the dilapidated road. According to an official statement, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given financial approval of about Rs 30 crore for repair and repainting works of 100 feet wide roads in the Municipal Corporation Jaipur Heritage Area.

Apart from this, the CM has given financial approval of Rs 219 crore for 20 works of link roads in two assembly constituencies and Rs 36 crore for connecting seven revenue villages with roads. Approval has been given for 99 works of link roads in Malviya Nagar and Sanganer assembly constituencies at a cost of Rs 97 crore under the Urban Road Scheme.

Under the rural road scheme, Rs 36 crore has been approved for seven works to connect seven revenue villages with roads.


In
another decision, Gehlot approved an additional budgetary provision of Rs 99 crore for 30 colleges in the state. These include 99 colleges of co-education and 30 girls' colleges. Out of this amount, Rs 72 crore will be spent on the construction of additional 27 classrooms in these colleges and Rs 28 crore will be spent on necessary repair work and purchase of furniture.

According to the
statement, approval has been given to start Devnarayan Girls Residential School in Tahla (Alwar). The residential school will have a capacity of 280 and will teach classes from 12th to 11th. In the school, studies will be conducted in the Faculty of Science in 12th and 23th class. The Chief Minister has also approved the creation of <> new posts for this residential school.
