The deterioration of the health of the leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, may be associated with his poisoning.

This opinion was expressed on the air of the telethon by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov.

"The fact that Kadyrov has health problems is a well-known thing. Moreover, there is such an assumption that it was poisoning, and repeated poisoning, which gave certain complications to the kidney system. As far as we understand that the video that exists, I cannot say that this video was recorded yesterday, when he showed it, it may be a completely old video that has nothing to do with today," he said.

Danilov noted that Kadyrov and other Russians are being hunted as the struggle between different branches of government continues in the Kremlin.

"Taking into account the influence that he had and continues to have on the processes in Russia, he found himself in such a situation. We'll see how his health will be. I would not be in a hurry, because a person can be in a coma for a week, or a month, or six months or more," he told the NSDC secretary.

Danilov said that Kadyrov's death will not lead to any major changes in Russia, but will only weaken one of the Kremlin groups that are at war with each other.

"As for the Caucasus, certain processes may begin there, which indicate that in general, power in Russia is extremely fragile and Prigozhin's campaign proved this," Danilov added.

Earlier, it was reported that the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov could have been helped "sick" by the Russian special services.

In addition, we previously reported that the Main Directorate of Intelligence responded to rumors about Kadyrov's probable death.
