Russia's economy will hold out until 2025, and the flow of weapons will stop in 2026, probably earlier, after which the terrorist country will not be able to wage war in Ukraine.

This forecast was voiced by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with The Economist.

According to him, the only obvious advantage that Russia still has over Ukraine is the number of personnel.

"Human resources in Russia, relatively speaking, are unlimited. The quality is low, but the quantity is sufficient," he said.

As for other components of military operations, as Budanov emphasized, Russian resources are running out and reckoning is underway.

As an allegation, he cited Vladimir Putin's negotiations with North Korea. In his opinion, this is a clear indication of the problems of the Russian Federation.

"If everything is fine and Russia has enough resources, then why are they being sought all over the world? The answer is obvious. There is nothing else to extract," Budanov said.

Earlier, military expert Mikhail Zhyrokhov predicted what weapons North Korea could provide to Russia and whether it would change the course of the war.
