Normal life has been disrupted in the state due to heavy rains for the last two days. Banswara district is facing the most problems due to rain in the state. Many colonies have been submerged due to continuous torrential rains here. Roads have become lakes. Water has come up to three to four feet in people's homes. Meanwhile, 6 people have died in different accidents in Banswara district due to rain. In this, four people died due to drowning in the drain and two people died due to house collapse.
According to the information received, Santu Bheel, wife of Pooja Bheel of Anandpuri and Sukan son of Sajjangarh, Dinesh Labana of Sajjangarh have died due to the collapse of the kutcha house. The deceased have been identified as Kala Katara of Kushalgarh, Amar Singh son of Hawa Singh, Devi Lal of Bhungad and Dinesh of Village Panchayat Dungripara.
Due to continuous rains, 7 houses collapsed in Kushalgarh, 1 in Anandpuri and 1 in Arathuna. Many roads are also closed due to rain. More water is also flowing on the Lasada bridge on the state highway connecting Dungarpur to Banswara, due to which the highway has been closed. The Jaipur-Banswara highway was also closed due to heavy water supply.

While dozens of houses in residential areas of the city have been submerged due to continuous rains in the district for two consecutive days, waterlogging and other problems have arisen due to rain in rural areas too. Minister of State for Tribal Development Arjun Singh Bamania held discussions with District Collector Prakash Chandra Sharma and Additional District Collector Dr. Dinesh Sapola and gave directions to the concerned officer to solve the problem faced by the people due to rain.
Banswara records 223 mm rainfall
Banswara district has been witnessing heavy rains for the past 48 hours. Due to which public life has become chaotic. There has been a power outage, while traffic has been affected. Due to continuous rains, many bridges have been flooded and the villages have been cut off.
The highest rainfall in the district was recorded in the Baghidaura area during this period. The highest rainfall of 15 inches has been measured here. Similarly, Banswara recorded 223 mm rainfall, Ghatol 196 mm, Shergarh 270 mm, Sallopat 272 mm, Kushalgarh 182 mm, Danpur 200 mm, Kesarpura 252, Garhi 110 mm, Jagpura 72 mm, Loharia 54 mm, Arathuna 83 mm and Sajjangarh 272 mm.
