The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct defense in the east and south of Ukraine, offensive operations in the Melitopol direction and offensive operations in the Bakhmut direction. The defense forces are destroying the enemy, liberating the temporarily occupied territories and gaining a foothold on the achieved frontiers.

During the past day, 34 combat clashes took place. The enemy launched seven missile and 35 air strikes, carried out more than 56 MLRS attacks both on the positions of our troops and on civilian objects of our state.

In addition, since the beginning of the current day, the Russian occupiers have launched a massive air strike using attack UAVs on the civilian infrastructure of Odesa and Sumy regions. Information on the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.

Airstrikes were carried out on Popivka, Stepok, Myropillia, Grabovske in Sumy Oblast, Kislivka in Kharkiv Oblast, Nadiya, Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast, Spirne, Klishchiivka, Pivnichne in Donetsk Oblast, Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, and Odradokamyanka in Kherson Oblast.

More than 45 settlements in Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts came under artillery fire.

The situation at the front

In the area of responsibility of the "North" Joint Task Force in the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains without significant changes.

In the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy continues to maintain a group of troops covering the state border, conducts active sabotage activities in the border areas in order to prevent the transfer of our troops to threatening directions, and increases the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Joint Task Force in the Kupyansk, Lyman and Bakhmut directions, the enemy does not stop trying to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Orikhovo-Vasylivka. In turn, during the offensive, the Defense Forces had partial success in the Klishchiivka area of the Donetsk region, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.

In the area of responsibility of the Tavriya Joint Task Force, our defenders are steadfastly holding the defense near Avdiivka and Maryinka, where during the past day the enemy made more than 20 unsuccessful attempts to displace our units from their positions. In addition, all enemy attacks in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast, and south of Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia oblast, resulted in significant losses for the occupiers, both in manpower and equipment. At the same time, in the Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions, the Defense Forces continue to hold the initiative, put pressure on the enemy, conduct assault operations and recapture our land.

In the Melitopol direction, the Defense Forces continue the offensive operation, inflict significant losses on the occupying forces in manpower and equipment, and force the enemy to retreat from their positions. As a result of assault operations, our soldiers have partial success in the area of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region.

In the area of responsibility of the Odesa Joint Task Force, the Defense Forces continue counter-battery fighting, destroying logistics, deployments and firing positions of enemy units.

Over the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment.

Units of missile forces and artillery and unmanned systems hit 10 artillery pieces, two anti-aircraft missile systems, one personnel concentration area, one electronic warfare station, one control point and five enemy ammunition depots.

As reported, the occupiers are trying to break through the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in one of the regions. In particular, near Avdiivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka. All attempts are unsuccessful.
