Bharatpur Ajay Jhamri murder case: Police have arrested three accused in the murder of notorious history-sheeter Ajay Jhamri of Bharatpur. The three miscreants were arrested from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. During the shifting after the arrest, the three miscreants were trying to escape by snatching the weapon of the police. During this, there was also an encounter between the police and the miscreants. In this encounter, the three miscreants were shot in the legs. At present, the miscreants have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Ajay Jhamri was shot dead on August 27 at Hiradas square under Kotwali police station area of Bharatpur. Ten days after the murder, the police have arrested three miscreants involved in the case from Dehradun.

There was a reward

of Rs 25,25 each on the three accused. After the murder, the three accused were on the run and Bharatpur police were constantly trying to arrest them. Meanwhile, the police received information about the hiding of the three accused in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. According to the information, the police arrested the three accused.

When the DST team was coming to Bharatpur after arresting the three accused from Dehradun, a miscreant tried to escape by snatching the weapons of the police personnel in Udyog Nagar police station area and opened fire on the police personnel. In retaliation by the police, the three miscreants were shot in the legs. They were admitted to RBM Hospital in an injured condition late at night. From where the three miscreants have been referred to Jaipur SMS Hospital.



Bharatpur Range IG Rupinder Singh said that on August 27, three bike-borne miscreants shot dead history-sheeter Ajay Jhamri near Hiradas intersection under Atalband police station area. Meanwhile, the police got information that the three accused were hiding in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand, and the three accused were arrested by the DST team.

IG explains how the encounter started

The IG further said that when the three accused were being arrested and brought to Bharatpur by the police, during shifting near Hanuman Tiraha in Udyog Nagar police station area, one of the accused Tejveer snatched the pistol of DST team constable Jagdish and opened fire on the police personnel. During this, the three miscreants started running away while firing on the police.

The three miscreants were admitted to the district hospital late at night, from where they were referred to Jaipur SMS Hospital on Wednesday morning after their condition became critical, where they are undergoing treatment.

Bharatpur SP Mridul Kachhwa said that after the murder, continuous efforts were made to arrest the three accused and Bharatpur police got success after 10 days. In the world of crime, the younger generation is stepping in to reel and show their supremacy. But Bharatpur police warns these youths that those who commit crimes will not be spared under any circumstances.
