On August 16, 2023, Prime Minister Jayhun Bayramov received Toivo Clar, the European Union's special representative for the Southern Caucasus.

The EPA reports that the Foreign Ministry has leaked information about the case.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, talks mediated by international partners, including the European Union, as well as the current regional situation.

Minister Jayhun Bayramov emphasized that armenia's recent military-political attacks in the region, false and unsubstantiated claims about the "blockade" and "tense humanitarian situation" in the region, do not serve peace and stability.

It has been pointed out that the use of the Agdam-Hankand road, supported by the European Union, and in parallel, the intensification of traffic on the Lachin road, as well as the breakdown of agreements on a meeting with representatives of the Armenian residents on the reintegration process, has shown that Armenia is not interested in the normalization process.

The parties have discussed other bilateral and regiomal issues of mutual interest.
