Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Tetiana Berezhna said that since the beginning of the war, 6.2 million Ukrainians who are currently with the border have left abroad. There are also 5 million internally displaced persons in our country.

She said this on the air of the program "Ukrinform: evening stream".

Berezhna noted that now there are different data on how many Ukrainians have moved abroad because of Russia's war against Ukraine. She noted that they may all differ. They are obtained from data from the State Border Guard Service and European institutions.

"In the Ministry of Economy, we conclude that now there are about 6.2 million people outside Ukraine who have left since the full-scale invasion," Tetiana Berezhna said.

The Deputy Minister noted that there are more than 5 million internally displaced persons in Ukraine, but this figure may be higher, since not everyone is registered when leaving the combat zone.

Earlier, analysts of the public organization OPORA reported that, according to their estimates, more than 8 million Ukrainians live abroad.
