A wave of searches swept through Kyiv. Law enforcement officers conduct 20 simultaneous searches in the offices of Kyivavtodor, district CE SEU of the capital and contractors.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

"Investigative actions take place within the framework of proceedings initiated under Part 3 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, on the fact of misappropriation of budget funds by officials of the Kyivavtodor Municipal Complex and the SEU of the Podolsky, Pechersk, Solomensky and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the capital by providing subordinate and affiliated enterprises with victory during public procurement for road overhaul services, improvement and elimination of emergency pitting in Kyiv," the message says.

The prosecutor's office clarified that within the framework of the proceedings on July 21, on the basis of court rulings, simultaneous searches were conducted at 20 addresses in Kyiv, Kyiv and Odesa regions, in particular at the location of communal enterprises, contractors and subcontractors and persons possibly involved in the illegal scheme.

Investigative actions are currently ongoing.
