In the village of Kyslivka, Tarashcha territorial community in the Kyiv region, rescuers extinguished a fire in a convent on an area of 500 sq.m at night.

This was reported by the press service of the SES.

It is noted that the message about the fire was received on July 20 at 22:50.

"Upon arrival of rescuers, it was established that the roof of the convent in honor of the Holy Royal Martyrs of the Bila Tserkva diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate on an area of 500 square meters was on fire," the statement said.

The fire was localized at 00:34 and extinguished at 00:56 on an area of 500 sq.m.

12 units of equipment and 46 personnel were involved in extinguishing the fire.

It should be noted that the convent in honor of the Holy Royal Martyrs belongs to the Bila Tserkva diocese of the UOC-Moscow Patriarchate.

Earlier it was reported about the fire of the Church of St. Matrona in the village of Huta Mezhyhirska. The church that burned down belonged to the UOC-MP.

Before that, in the village of Hrebinky, Bila Tserkva district in the Kyiv region, a fire broke out in the Svyato-Pokrovskiy Church, which also belongs to the UOC-MP. The cause of the fire is currently being established.
