President Volodymyr Zelenskyy again commented on the words of former US President Donald Trump, who promised to end Russia's war against Ukraine in 24 hours
Zelensky said this in an interview with ABC News.
"The only desire to bring the war to an end is beautiful," Zelensky said. "But this desire must be based on some real experience. Well, it looks like Donald Trump already had those 24 hours of his time. We were at war, not a full-scale war, but we were at war and as I assume he had that time at his disposal, he must have had some other priorities."
Zelensky assured that Ukraine would not agree to end the war in exchange for its territories.
"If we're talking about ending the war at the expense of Ukraine, that is, forcing us to give up our territory, well, I think that way Joe Biden could bring it to an end even in five minutes. But we would not agree," the head of state said.
We will remind, the former head of the White House Donald trump said that he will end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours if he is again elected president of the United States. He also "announced" World War III.
In addition, Donal Trump advised Ukraine to cede territory to stop the war" and said that Putin is "somewhat weakened."
In response, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reminded that Trump had not ended the war in Ukraine when he was president.
