A tornado destroyed a house, killed one person and injured another in Martin County, Indiana.
The tornado hit the area last night. Another storm swept south of Indianapolis yesterday afternoon and damaged at least 75 houses, authorities said. The director of the county's emergency management service, Cameron Wolfe, confirmed reports of one dead and one injured person.

There was also a tornado in Johnson County, south of Indianapolis, yesterday afternoon, causing damage in several municipalities, including Greenwood and Bargersville, officials said.
In Memphis, Tennessee, the utility said about 120,000 homes and businesses were left without power yesterday as gale winds knocked down trees and caused other damage.
