On Friday morning, June 23, the Ukrainian military "landed" a Ka-52 "Alligator" helicopter of the Russian army in Donetsk region.
This was announced by Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk.
"Thank you all for your combat work tonight. I also thank our anti-aircraft gunners for another downed Alligator in Donetsk region this morning," Oleshchuk's post reads.
The downed Russian "bird" was also reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
"We start the day with good news. This morning, in the Donetsk region, our soldiers shot down a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter," reads the post.
By the way, as of the morning of June 23, according to the General Staff, Ukrainian defenders have already "minusced" 307 helicopters of the Russian army.
As reported, since February 24, 2022, the Armed Forces of Ukraine havedestroyed 223,330 soldiers of the Russian army. Over the past day, another 680 soldiers were eliminated.
