The Armed Forces of Ukraine are successful in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions. Currently, Ukrainian defenders are gaining a foothold on the occupied borders.

This was announced by Speaker of the General Staff of the Armed Forces Andriy Kovalev during a telethon.

"Over the past day, in the directions of Novodarivka-Pryyutne, Makarivka-Rivnopil and Novodanylivka-Robotino, the Ukrainian military had partial success, they are consolidating on the achieved borders," he said.

According to Kovalev, the Russian occupation forces are concentrating their main efforts on defending and preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops, using reserves, trying to restore the lost position.

As reported, over the past day, June 19, 45 clashes took place at the front. The army of the Russian Federation continues to focus its main efforts on the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Mariinsky directions, heavy fighting continues.
