In Odesa region, police detained a resident of Berezivshchyna on suspicion of killing a woman. The attacker mercilessly beat the victim, and when he discovered that she was without signs of life, buried her in a shed. He faces up to 15 years in prison.

Law enforcement officers exposed the man a few hours after receiving information about the disappearance of a citizen. The offender confessed.

The disappearance of a 42-year-old woman was reported by a deputy of the Ivanovo village council. According to him, fellow villagers have not seen her at her place of residence for almost a month.

A few hours later, it was established that the woman had taken the life of her 49-year-old husband.

"Realizing that he had been exposed, the defendant admitted: in May, a quarrel arose between him and his wife on the basis of jealousy. The man, under the influence of fetters and emotions, beat the woman with his fists, and when she lost consciousness, he left her on the bed, and he left the house. Later, when he returned, he found his wife dead and, to hide the crime, wrapped her body in a blanket and buried her in a shed on the territory of his estate, and told neighbors that she had gone abroad to visit her sister," police said.

Previously, the cause of death of the woman was a fracture of the bones of the chest.
