Experience in developed countries has shown that special procedures are being used to address the difference between women and men in pensions. The point is that when women reach retirement age, their pension capital is hit by a special venture, resulting in increases in women's pension capital. I suggest that a similar practice should be used in Azerbaijan.
"APA-Economics" reports that deputy Vujar Bayramov made this statement at a meeting of the National Assembly today.
"Given that social security and strengthening pensions are issues that the President is focusing on. Therefore, in Azerbaijan, when women are over the age of retirement, its special calculation will increase pension capital and, as a result, allow women to receive more pensions. "It will also allow the difference between women and men to be resolved and the social welfare of our women, especially those of retirement age," the MP said.
