According to the Panchang, Pradosh Vrat will be observed on the trayodashi date of Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashadha. This date falls on July 1. On July 1, Saturday, at 1:16 am, the trayodashi tithi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadha month will be till 11:7 pm. Due to this, Shani Pradosh Vrat is going to be kept on July 1.

Special yoga is also being made on this day. The first auspicious yoga will be from morning till 10.44 pm. After this, Shukla Yoga will be done, which is going to last till the next day. Ravi Yoga will last from 3.4 pm on the day of Pradosh Vrat to 2.5 am on July 27.

Auspicious time to worship Shani Pradosh Vrat

On the day of Pradosh Vrat, worshiping in the auspicious muhurat gets special blessings of Bholenath (Lord Shiva). Special worship of Pradosh Vrat is done in the evening. Due to this, the auspicious muhurat is going to be from 1.7 pm to 23.9 pm on July 24. Apart from this, there is a benefit-unnati muhurat from 7.23 pm to 8.39 pm. Worshiping in this muhurat can also be very auspicious.

Apart from this, Shani Pradosh vrat is shivavas on the day. Shivavas is considered extremely beneficial for the devotees. Shivvas will start from the morning of July 1 and will last till 11.7 pm.

How to worship Shiva

Shiva puja is done on the evening of Pradosh Vrat, but after taking a vow of fasting only after bathing in the morning, devotees go to Shiva temple for Shiva darshan. Many devotees perform Shiva Puja (Shiva Puja) in the house even in the morning. In the evening, belpatra, dhatura, fruits, flowers and bhog etc. are offered in front of Bholenath in worship. After this, Shiva Puja is concluded with Shiva Aarti and chanting of mantras.
