Over the past day, the enemy inflicted 41 air strikes and carried out 57 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population, residential apartment buildings, private houses and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged.

This is stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 7.

In addition, Russian terrorists committed another war crime - in order to prevent the advance of our troops, they blew up the internal structures of the Kakhovka HPP. As a result of the terrorist attack, about 80 settlements are in the flooding zone.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Over the past day, more than 30 clashes took place.

  • In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.
  • In the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy launched air strikes near Ohirtseve, Kharkiv region. Carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements of Yeline, Kamianka, Progress, Karpovichi, Kostobobriv, Tymonovichi, Medvedivka, Halahanivka of Chernihiv region; Seredyna Buda, Shalygine, Volfine, Katerynivka, Obody, Yastrubyne, Popivka, Basivka, Zapsillia, Myropillia, Myropilske, Velyka Pysarivka, Grabovske of Sumy region, as well as Sotnytskyi Kozachok, Baranivka, Veterinary, Vysokyi Yaruga, Strelecha, Gatishche, Synelnykove, Tsehelne, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Zybyne, Karaichne, Zarichne, Pechenegs, Budarky, Olkhuvatka, Chuhunovka, Milove, Velykyi Burluk, Odradne, Fyholivka in Kharkiv region.
  • In the Kupiansk sector, enemy artillery and mortar attacks hit Novomlynsk, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masiutivka, Lyman Pervyi, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Berestovo of Kharkiv region, and Novoselivske of Luhansk region.
  • In the Lyman direction, the invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Kreminna, Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Berestovo, Donetsk region. Conducted air strikes near the settlements of Dibrova, Novosadove, Spirne, Vesele, Hryhorivka and Ivanivka in Donetsk region. Artillery shelling hit Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Verkhniokamianske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region.
  • In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted offensive operations in the direction of Klishchiivka, was not successful. Struck an air strike near Bila Gora, Donetsk region. Vasiukivka, Malynivka, Tikhonivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Stupocki, Bila Hora, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ozaryanivka, Toretsk and Pivnichne of Donetsk region suffered from enemy shelling.
  • In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Inflicted air strikes in the area of Avdiivka. Artillery shelling of the areas of the settlements of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Lastochkine, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Karlivka, Nevelske of Donetsk region.
  • In the Maryinka direction, our defenders repelled all 13 enemy attacks near the city of Marinka, at the same time, the enemy launched air strikes within the settlement. Artillery shelling hit Hostre, Maksymilianivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.
  • In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy launched air strikes near the settlements of Vuhledar, Bogoyavlenka, Zolota Niva and Velyka Novosilka. He shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novoukrainka and Zolota Nyva in Donetsk region.
  • In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russians continue to defend themselves. Struck an air strike on Olhivsky, Zaporizhia region. Artillery shelling of the settlements of Vremivka, Novopil, Donetsk region; Temyrivka, Olhivske, Poltavka, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Charovne, Bilogirya, Stepove and Kamianske of Zaporizhia region; Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region; Odradokamianka, Antonivka, Kherson region and the city of Kherson.

Response of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Aviation of the Defense Forces over the past day inflicted 17 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel and 4 - on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

Also over the past day, a Russian Su-25 attack aircraft and 4 reconnaissance UAVs were destroyed.

Missile troops and artillery units hit 9 control points, 4 areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, 3 ammunition depots, an anti-aircraft missile system, 14 enemy artillery units in firing positions and 18 other important enemy targets.
