The more success Ukraine gains on the battlefield, the more "shrill sounds" will come from Moscow.

This was stated by the head of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Great Britain James Cleverly, informs France 24.

When asked by a journalist about the supply of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine, Cleverly rejected Russia's threats to escalate the conflict.

"We have deliberately decided that we cannot allow escalating rhetoric or saber-rattling by Vladimir Putin or the Kremlin to prevent us from doing the right thing," the British minister said.

Recently, the Russian Foreign Minister. Sergei Lavrovy said the West was "playing with fire" by supplying Ukraine with aircraft to defend against Russian aggressors.

Cleverly made clear that no threats from the Kremlin affect the decision to help Ukraine.

As Ukrainians move closer to success and move closer to victory, more regular and shrill sounds will come from the Kremlin. This will always be an inevitable reaction to Russia's lack of success on the battlefield," Cleverly said.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that Volodymyr Zelensky told how much money and time is needed to build infrastructure for the F-16.

In addition, we previously reported that Russian propagandists were hysterical about the transfer of F-16 fighters to Ukraine.
