Two people were killed, 13 were wounded and one is in custody following a reported shooting at the Altria Theater in Richmond, Virginia, that took place during the Huguenot High School graduation ceremony, local outlet 8News reported citing sources.

A shooting was reported at the Altria Theater located at Laurel Street and Franklin Street around 17:00 local time (22:00 GMT), Richmond School Board member Jonathan Young said, according to the report.

This occurred an hour after Huguenot High School had a graduation scheduled at Altria.

Police and elite SWAT units are on the scene, but authorities report there is no immediate threat to the public, the report added.
