The occupiers are trying to conduct offensive operations in the directions of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ivanovske and Northern, in the Bakhmut direction, but have no success.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on June 7.

During the day, the enemy inflicted 28 air strikes, carried out about 20 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and settlements. In addition to destroyed infrastructure, civilians were injured.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to fully occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the day there were 21 clashes.

The General Staff also reported on the operational situation on the fronts.

Thus, in the Siversky and Slobozhansky directions, the enemy launched an air strike in the area of Strelecha, Kharkiv region. He carried out mortar and artillery shelling of dozens of settlements.

In the Kupiansk direction, during the day, the enemy launched air strikes near Kyslivka, Kharkiv region, and Stelmakhivka, Luhansk region. Artillery and mortar attacks hit Kamianka, Topoli, Krasne Pershe, Petro-Ivanivka, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrashevka, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Berestovo in Kharkiv region, and Novoselivske-Luhansk.

In the Liman direction, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Vesele, Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy conducted offensive operations in the directions of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ivanovske and Northern, with no success.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy made an unsuccessful offensive attempt near Avdiivka. At the same time, the enemy launched air strikes within this settlement. Artillery shelling of the areas of the settlements of Berdychi, Stepove, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Karlivka of Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka direction, our defenders repulsed 9 enemy attacks near the city of Marinka. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka. Artillery shelling hit Hostre, Maksymilianivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is defending.

To recap, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched an offensive in the Bakhmut direction. The details were announced by Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar. TheAxis troops in this direction have gone on the defensive and are trying to hold their positions.
