The share of booking hotels and accommodation among Russians in the occupied Crimea for recreation fell to 1%.

The edition writes about it The Bell.

Journalists write that this summer there will be almost no tourists in the occupied Crimea, as transport accessibility has fallen greatly due to closed airports and fears about the war.

The so-called "authorities" of the occupied peninsula realized back in March that this year's season in Crimea would be even more disastrous than last year's, so funds were allocated from the budget so that hotels could pay employees the minimum wage.

"The share of Crimea in hotel bookings and holiday accommodation in the summer among Russians this year fell to 1%. Last year it was 3%, and in 2021 - 19% (then the region was the absolute leader in bookings).

The decline in demand for accommodation in the Crimea is confirmed in the booking service: according to their data, taking into account the daily rent of apartments and houses, the share of Crimea in bookings for the summer is 3%," the article says.

It should be noted that in the fall of 2022, tourism market participants said that they lost tourists due to the "political situation" and the "closure of airports".

We will remind, earlier it was reported that the Russian military are already beginning to flee from the occupied peninsula of Crimea. Despite the fact that several amphibious assault ships are still cruising in the Black Sea, the Russian fleet has begun to be moved to the port of Novorossiysk.

In addition, we previously reported that the FSB of the Russian Federation is going to implement a set of pre-planned measures for the removal of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories and regions bordering Russia to Crimea.
