The negotiations were held in front of everyone. It is an open secret that there was option A, plan A and plan B. Colleagues from ITN and BSP made typical statements for Bulgarian political life – as if they had never entered into such conversations. For me, what happened is the better option, plan A. It was made possible by two people – the president and the attorney general. With their actions, they forced political opponents to sit at the same table and reconcile their differences, to compromise so that there is a government. This was explained in an interview with the Bulgarian National Radio by the MP from GERB-UDF The Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) is a Bulgarian right-wing political party, successor of Petar Nikolov.

According to Nikolov, power is not a gift, as the president put it yesterday. "There was a seizure of power by the president that was becoming increasingly dangerous."

"He thinks the power is in the president. Parliament can overthrow a government at any time. There are mechanisms to control the actions of ministers literally. Power is back where it needs to be. (...) The institutional war did not start yesterday, but 3 years ago, when Rumen Radev waved his fist on the square and called Bulgaria's legitimate government "thugs". Rumen Radev does not understand the construction of power in Bulgaria."

"We are in a clean situation," said the MP from GERB-UDF. The Union of Democratic Forces (UDF) is a Bulgarian right-wing political party, successor to, adding that what they said about the PP during the election campaigns is "that these people are harmful to Bulgaria in the way they ruled then", but now the majority is a guarantee that this is not repeated.

The talks with the MRF are led mostly by the DB with the main goal of constitutional reform, Petar Nikolov specified in the show "Before All".

He expressed the opinion that the political forces in parliament should not behave towards Prosecutor General Ivan Geshev "as a legitimate participant in public life."

"

The whole cascade of requests for immunitieswas for a single purpose-to prevent the formation of a government. It pulls the judiciary out of its position of political neutrality."
