In Virginia, a gunman staged a school graduation shooting on June 6, killing at least two people and injuring five others. According to police, the dead were men aged 18 and 36 years – according to unofficial information, this is a father and son.

The incident occurred on the campus of the University of the Commonwealth of Virginia, where the graduation ceremony of the local high school in Richmond was held.

Men aged 14, 32, 31, 55 and 58 were also injured.

Armed with four pistols, a man opened fire on the crowd during a graduation ceremony.

"Police have arrested the suspect, a 19-year-old man, and plan to charge him with two counts of second-degree murder in addition to other possible offenses," Richmond Acting Police Chief Rick Edwards said in a statement.

According to law enforcement, the attacker knew one of the victims and shot him among the crowd.

In addition, a 9-year-old girl was hit by a car during the chaos that broke out at school, many other people were injured as a result of falls.
