China is extremely concerned about the destruction of the Kaxovka Water Power Station dam.

The EPA reports that China's permanent representative to the UN, Zjang Jun, said this at a security council meeting on Ukraine. He urged all parties to stick to international humanitarian law and do everything they can to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.

Zjang Jun noted that his country is concerned about the escalation and continuation of the Ukrainian crisis. He added that China supports the active efforts of the United Nations and humanitarian organizations to predict the population in the flood area.

Zjang Jun noted that China remains on the side of peace and will continue its relentless efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis politically.
