(CNN Spanish) -- The months of June and July are usually a time of year full of video game events and conferences in which the companies that develop and publish video games announce the news they have for the coming months and years. The E3 fair, held in Los Angeles, has historically been the great event attended by most companies and studios and to which fans from all over the world paid attention.

However, the covid-19 pandemic led to the cancellation of several editions of the fair between 2019 and 2022 and the 2023 one was finally canceled by the organizers. Already during the pandemic, due to the possibility of streaming their own ads, many companies began to hold their own events or grouped around different celebrations.
