President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that he is aware of the fact that during the war Ukraine cannot join NATO. However, after its completion, we need a powerful alliance so that Russia no longer attacks our state.

He said this on June 6 during a briefing.

"We are adequate people who are not going to be members of NATO during the war. No one will give us that. But no one is asking for it because we don't want the world to be divided. For societies to be divided, to have so many challenges. We do not need troops of other states. But after this war, if we do not want the return of the Russian Federation, there must be an appropriate alliance that will ensure this. In another way, I don't know how businesses and people will return here," the president said.
